She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertram Welch and Thelma Welch; and her children, Lloyd Hamilton III and Mary Lawana Hamilton. She is survived by: her sons, William "Lamar" Hamilton (Sherrie) and Christopher L. Hamilton Sr. (Gayle); and her sister Barbara Edmonds. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
