She was predeceased by: her husband Winfred Johnston (Clyde Gill); and her siblings, Annie Mae Williams (Jewel), Ruth Walsh (Hatten), Mildred Avera (Marvin), Joyce Boyd (Corbett), Norman Burris (Javier), Fred Burris (Geneva), Elwin Burris (Bea) and Hilburn Burris (Emily).
She is survived by: her children, Mary Anne Griffith (Charles), Ken Johnston (Dot), Martha Hill (Donnie) and Lee Gill (Kristi); her grandchildren, Charlie Griffith (Ginger), David Griffith (Megan), Jim Johnston (Dina), Amy Gazaway (Spencer), Wes Gill (Ashley), Leah Smith (Corbin) and Dan Gill (Chloé); and her great grandchildren, Mary Claire, Virginia, Abby, Greer Griffith, Rex, Caroline, Angus Johnston, Sam, Luke, Lily Gazaway, Emma Gill and John Cager Gill.
Memorials may be made to The Baptist Children's Village, 114 Marketridge Drive, Ridgeland, MS 39157, a place that was near and dear to our Mother's heart, or any charity of your choice.
