She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Jackson and Gertrude Brown; and her children, Chad Bruce, Christal Estess and Samantha Berryhill.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Bruce. She is also survived by eight daughters; five sons; thirty five grandchildren; thirty seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
