He was predeceased by: his parents, Lockwood Hoots, Sr. and Fannie Hoots (Nancy Hoots); his son Tracy Hoots; and his daughter-in-law Christie Hoots. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Taylor; his sons, Tony Hoots of Bogue Chitto and Trent Hoots (Kim) of Knoxville, TN.; his grandchildren, Judy Moran (Matt) of McComb, MS., Brea Bales (Chris) of Bogue Chitto, Taylor Hoots (Ashley) of Jayess, MS, Tayten of Knoxville, TN, Kinsley Hoots of Knoxville, TN and Kylie Pittman of Bogue Chitto; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Naomi, Mia Moran of McComb, MS, Braiden and Braxton Bales of Bogue Chitto.
