She was predeceased by: her husband George L Walsten, Jr.; her parents, Fred O. Nash and Verne Huie Nash; her siblings, Charles D Nash (Sophie) and Freddie Nelson (Ira Jenkins "Bill"); her in-laws, George Williams and John Spokes; and her great-niece Jennifer Morris.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Bourgeois; her son-in-law Rodney of Gonzales, LA; her grandson Robert Bourgeois (Mandy) of Livingston, LA; her great grandchildren, Caleb, Emma and Amelia; her granddaughter Amanda Vermillion (Matthew) of Dallas, TX; her great grandchildren, Abigail, Aiden and Lilia; and also, Leslie (Craig), Judy and Kay (Bob). She is also survived by children and grandchildren, and many distant cousins.
