It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Louise King of McComb, Mississippi, born in Magnolia, Mississippi, who passed away on March 23, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Enoch Isaiah "Nick" Phelps and Mary Louvenia Jenkins Phelps; her husband C. J. King; her son Marvin Larue King; and her sister Margaret Owens.

She is survived by: her daughters, Pauline Holcombe of Bandon, MS, Elaine Adams of Roseville, Arlene Keen of Denham Springs and Brenda King of McComb; and her sisters, Emma Lee Page of Ponchatoula, Sue Blailock of McComb, JoAnn Adams of Bogalusa and Alice Blailock of Walker, Louisiana. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 21 Great-grandchildren.
