With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Whittington (McComb, Mississippi), who passed away on January 21, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd E. Whittington and Carrie Longmire Whittington; his wife Martha Dunaway Whittington of Liberty, MS; his daughter Kimberly W McCracken of Mandeville, LA; his sisters, Mary Lena Bobo, Christine Rollinson and Dorothy Blair; and his granddaughter Amy S. Wall.
He is survived by: his son Troy Whittington of Amite County; his children-in-law, Kandie G. Whittington of Summit, MS and Michael J McCracken (Roxanne) of Mandeville, LA; his grandchildren, Tyler C. Whittington of Gonzales, LA, Tori Whittington of Summit, MS, Joe Walker Whittington of Summit, MS and Carson McCracken of New Orleans, LA; his sisters-in-law, Sue Cleveland (Jimmy), June Barnett (Jack) and Carol DeLozier (Gene); his brother Bobby Joe Dunaway (Patricia); and his grandchildren, Brent Wall (Jodi) of Frendswood, TX, Davis Wall of Baton Rouge, LA, Karen W. Hemberg (Ben) of British Columbia, Canada., Matthew, Ashton, Jacob, Jackson, Hallie, Maya Wall, Benjamin, Lynlee Hemberg and Louis W. Jacobson.
