He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewitte Brock and Hilma Fortenberry Brock; his siblings, Sonja Brock Pezant and Arthur Sullivan Brock; his brother-in-law David Holmes; and his sister Sue Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ellen Holmes Brock; his children, Debra Jackson (Scott) and James Richard "Boo" Brock (Kelli); his grandchildren, Heather Johnston (Justin), Joseph Jackson (Ashley), Brian Brock (Sarah), Madeline Brock and Mary Ellen Brock; his great grandchildren, Jase Johnston, Rhett Johnston, Allie Jackson, Levi Jackson, Everett Brock and Brenna Brock; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Ben Pezant, Cindy Brock, Jewell Holmes (Ann) and Shirley Holmes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Summit (1108 Robb St, Summit, MS 39666). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
