Howard Alford Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Alford of McComb, Mississippi, who passed away on June 12, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther W. Howard (Luke) and Lura W. Alford Howard; his siblings, George Alford, Norma Dean Hodges and Lucy Hull; and his grandson Luke Simmons.

He is survived by: his daughter Christi Simmons of Summit; his grandchildren, Sarah of Summit, MS., Leah of Summit, MS., Matthew of Summit, MS. and Eli Simmons of Summit, MS.; and his niece Sheila McKie of Yazoo City, MS..

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mississippi Library Commission for the Blind 3881 Eastwood Drive Jackson, MS 39211-6473.
