He was predeceased by: his parents, Elisha D. Brumfield and Ruby Dell Ainsworth Brumfield; and his siblings, Nadine Brumfield Blackwell, Rex A. Brumfield and Johnny E. Brumfield.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Brumfield; his children, Gwen Hansen (Robert) of Winona, TX, Lisa Cockrell (Tim) of Terry, MS, Angie Milton (Mark) of Covington, LA and George Byron Brumfield; his sisters, Lucille Boyd and Alyne May (Lloyd); his grandchildren, Benjamin Hansen (Marissa), Zachary Hansen, Caleb Cockrell, Matthew Cockrell (Hannah), Luke Milton, Byron Milton (Lauren) and Millie Milton; and his great grandchildren, Brantley Cockrell and Lily Hansen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
