He was predeceased by: his parents, Von Beard and Joann Young Beard; his former wife Paula Brown Beard; his siblings, Julius Beard, Donis Beard Wallace and Sandra Beard Rachel; and his sister-in-law Debbie Beard.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Brown Beard of McComb; his son Derek Beard of Jayess; and his grandchildren, Paula Griffin, Jasper Griffin, Riley Beard and Collins Beard. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and many special friends.
