It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Hightower of McComb, Mississippi, born in Tylertown, Mississippi, who passed away on April 22, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Claude Boone; her husband Lee Hightower; her siblings, A. D., Clyde, Ford, Winston "Buck", Richard Boone, Claudine Ainsworth, Kathryn Sullivan and Jeanette Johnson; and her grandsons, Blake and Aaron Hightower.
She is survived by: her sons, Eddie Hightower (Freda) of Summit, Eric Hightower of McComb and Evan Hightower (Belinda) of McComb; her brother Algie Boone of Keller, TX; her grandsons, Trevor Hightower (Brandy) of Summit, MS, Jeffrey Hightower (Ashley) of Ft. Mills, SC and William Hightower (Katie) of Collierville; and her great grandchildren, Parker, Maci, Charlie, Drake and Leah Hightower. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
