He was predeceased by: his mother Maurine Freeman McFee; his grandparents, William "Bill" Freeman, Laura Albritton Freeman of Summit, Henry C. McFee, Sr. and Bertie Ramsey McFee of Asheville; his father Chuck McFee, Sr.; and his brother Charles "Charlie" W. McFee, Jr..
He is survived by: his friend Candy; his sister Cherry Lynn McFee Holmes (Mike); his nephews, Eddie Holmes (Michelle), Jessie Holmes (Jennifer), Casey Holmes (Heather), Wesley McFee, Roger McFee (Amber) and John Arthur McFee (Courtney); and his aunt Merle Barnette Freeman.
