He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Jackson and Courtney Elizabeth Badon Jackson; his wife Elsie Jackson; his brother Billy Jackson; his sister-in-law Joan Jackson; his daughter Suzy Jackson; and his son-in-law Clark Whitehead.
He is survived by: his children, David Jackson (Susan) of Sinton, TX and Jan Whitehead of Summit, MS; and his brother Wesley Jackson (Jean) of Lake Charles, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
