Claudia Gilbert Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2019, at the age of 92, Claudia Gilbert (McComb, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sam Garner and Mary Alice Robinson Garner; her grandmother Episcopalian; her husband Wilson Franklin Gilbert Jr.; her son Bobby Joe Black; her siblings, Wilbur Garner, J. C. Barnes and Linda Barnes; her children, Joseph C. Black of McComb, Billie Jean George (Gary) of Baton Rouge, LA. and Belinda B. Moore (Charlie) of Summit, MS.; and her sister Kathleen Black (Gene) of Cowan, TN.. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren with numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. Jude's Children Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
