He was predeceased by: his parents, H. C. "Clayton" Barrett and Lela Jones Barrett. He is survived by: his wife Katie Barrett; his children, Donna Durning (Charlie), David Barrett and John Barrett (Yoko); his grandsons, Michael Martinez (Tammy), Patrick Martinez and Cody Barrett; and his great grandchild Noah.
