He was predeceased by: his parents, E. J. Eckman and Lena Mae Eckman. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Eckman; his children, Eleanor Eckman, Randy Eckman (Judy), Sherry Pope (Dan), Kerry David Eckman and David Wayne Eckman; his grandchildren, Kasie Beth Brown (David) and Zachary Eckman; his great grandchildren, Cecilia Anne and Elizabeth-Frances Rose "Effie" Brown; and his siblings, James, Edward Eckman and Norma Eckman.
