He was predeceased by: his sister Dorothy Burns Penton; and his former wife Mary Jane Edwards Burns. He is survived by: his wife Connie Burns of McComb; his sons-in-law, Monica Anne Valentine, James Robert Valentine of Brandon, MS, Donna Price, Wayne Price of McComb, Bobbi Jayne Burdett of McComb, Beth Johnson and William Johnson, Jr. of McComb; his siblings, James Jr. of Picayune, MS, Juanita Coulter of Picayune, MS and Brenda Burns of Picayune, MS; his grandchildren, Matthew Valentine, Megan Valentine, Shane Monistere, Melissa Valentine, Phillip Price (Ragan), Timothy Price (Katelyn), Lindsay Dunn Carter (Russ), Tyler Dunn (Jolee), Mary Lynn Dunn, Kelli Johnson and Josh Stinson; his great grandchildren, Lainey Quinn Valentine, Kinsley Brister, Cohen Price, Kase Price, Everett Price, Anniston Jayne Carter, Laynee Rae Dunn and Rylee Lin Dunn; and also Prentiss Burns, Jr. of Picayune, MS. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
