Bernice Wells Howell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Wells Howell of McComb, Mississippi, who passed away on November 22, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan L. Wells and Addie Lee Reeves Wells; her husband John David Howell, Sr.; her children, Connie Howell Ginn and John David Howell, Jr.; and her siblings, Laverne Nunnery, Norma Smith, James Hugh Wells, Dan L. "Jack" Wells, Jr. and Raiford Lee Wells.
She is survived by: her sisters, Dorothy Wells East and Joy Wells Laird; and her children, Carolyn Howell Carter (Bill) of Lake Fork, TX and Jimmy Wayne Howell (Lisa) of Hattiesburg, MS. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
The family requests memorials be made in her name to: New Heights Baptist Church designated to Senior Adult Ministry Fund, 5140 US-98 Summit, MS 39666.
