She was predeceased by: her parents, Floie David Thames and Lula Mae Cade Thames; her friend Borden Brown; her sons, Barry Gibson and Darrell Gibson; her grandson James Lee Parker; and her siblings, David Thames, Joyce Matlock and Beverly Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Gibson, Lola, James Parker of Progress and Gail Lorraine Gibson of Nashville, TN.; and her grandchildren, Jacob Gibson, Christopher Gibson, Erikah Gibson, Jessica Vest, Brandi Parker and Donavan Gibson.
