She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordie A. "Bunk" Watkins and Evelyn Trice Watkins; her husband Arthur A. Floyd; and her son John Wesley Floyd. She is survived by: her sisters, Irene Blount and Lillian Simons; her sons, David W. Floyd (Janice) and Dr. Jeffrey A. Floyd (Temple); and her grandchildren, Emily F. Simpson (Matt), Jamie F. Dugar (Ethan), Tyler Floyd (Victoria), Hunter Floyd (Sydney), Parker Floyd (Kinley), Shane Floyd and Adrianne F. Peacock (Phillip). She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
