She was loved and cherished by many people including: the father of her children Joe Serio of McCarley; her children, Mary Margaret Holmes (Heath) of Tuscumbia, Anne Clair Serio of French Camp and Matthew Serio (April) of Winona; her grandchildren, Aaron, Jordan, Evan Holmes, Skylar, Sadie and Baylor Serio; her mother Margaret Anne Mullen Howard (Peggy) of McCarley; her siblings, Debbie Bond (Rocky) of West Point, Jim Howard (Renee) of McCarley and Ronnie Howard (Lashan) of McCarley; and her father James Edward Howard.

In lieu of flowers, she wished for donations to be made to French Camp Academy and/or Camp of the Rising Son in French Camp, Ms.
