We are sad to announce that on July 28, 2020, at the age of 88, Donald Applewhite of McCall Creek, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Applewhite and Nora Smith Applewhite; and his siblings, Hilda Sweeney, Edith Dunigan, Marinell Applewhite, Nora Rae Applewhite, Harold Applewhite, Alton Applewhite and Melvin Applewhite.

He is survived by: his wife Frankie Carolyn Applewhite; his daughters, Carrie Gill (Billy) of McCall Creek, MS and Debra Zeigler (Doug) of McCall Creek, MS; his siblings, Helen Ketteringham of Brookhaven, MS, Carolyn Smith of Brookhaven and Glen Applewhite of Brookhaven, MS; and his friend Jimmy Cater. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
