He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert A. Griffin and Mary J. Griffin (Perrigin) of Mathiston, MS; and his brothers, Timothy of Ricky, HA, Eddie and Kent.

He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Jennifer, Brad (Cari) and Blake (Amanda); his grandchildren, Brent of Gulfport, Baylea of Gulfport and Walker of Gulfport; his brother Tracy; and his extended family, Charles White (June), Debbie Taylor (Ray), Teresa Tapp (Neil) and Libby White. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
