She was predeceased by: her husband Cary Wayne Franklin; her daughter Audrey Mae Aldridge; her parents, William Sexton and Garnell McKay Sexton; her grandmother Austill (Brownie Sartin); and her brother Mutt Sexton.
She is survived by: her children, Thella Matthews (Thomas) of Sledge, MS and Terry Franklin (Mary) of Sledge, MS; and her sisters, Dorothy Britt of Southaven, MS. and Hazel Waldrop of Southaven, MS.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
