He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gordon Strickland and Ruth Riley Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Eddie Strickland of Foxworth; his daughter Michelle Strickland Shepard of Foxworth; his siblings, Mondell Sharpe (Shelby) of Dallas, TX, Ann Ulmer of Jackson, MS and Charles V. Strickland (Pat) of Columbia, MS; his grandsons, Keaton Carroll (Keshia) and Wes Shepard (Victoria); and his great grandchildren, Bretton Carroll, Anna Lee Shepard, Laney Kate Carroll, Reed Shepard and Sutton Carroll.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (1409 Hwy 98 E, Columbia, MS 39429).
