She is survived by: her husband Eric Johnson; her parents, Charles Burks and Carolyn Burks; her son Brody Johnson; her stepson Joshua Boyette; her nephews, Gage Boyd and Jagger Boyd; her siblings-in-law, Dena Boyd (Randy) and Mike Johnson; and her mother-in-law Sandy Johnson.

She was employed by Rush Foundation Hospital Specialty and Wound Care.
