She was predeceased by: her husband John Meredith; her parents, Ernest Slayton Sr. and Margie Fontaine; and her brother Ernest Slayton Jr.. She is survived by: her sisters, Joyce Slayton and Teresa Spivey (Jesse). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
