She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Henry and Annie Alice Cook; her son Glyn B. Porter, Jr.; and her siblings, Emily Cranford, Bill Cook and Charles B. Cook.

She is survived by: her husband Glyn B. Porter of Columbia; her children, Gloria Parham (George) of Clinton, Lynn P. English (Eddie) of Columbia and Tom Porter (Renee) of Columbia; her sister Sybil White of Columbia; and her grandsons, Russell Shaw, Tucker English, Warren English, Adam Porter, Dave Porter and Javan Porter. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren; and 6 Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made toward the Mission efforts of Edna Baptist Church.
