It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lavon Parker Sr. (Marion, Mississippi), born in Quitman, Mississippi, who passed away on October 21, 2019, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Parker and Ester Effrin Parker. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Parker of Prentiss; his children, Sonya McRaney of Seminary and David Lavon Parker, Jr. of Prentiss; his brothers, Roy Parker of Birmingham, AL and Tommy Parker of North Carolina; and his grandsons, Connor, Seth and Will.
