He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Howard Tarver and Mary Louise McCaleb Tarver; and his granddaughter Alicia Hoover. He is survived by: his wife Alice Magee Tarver; his son Paul H. Tarver (Pamela Tarver) of Marion, MS; his grandson Daniel Hoover of Elmira, NY; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Magee of Whynot, MS and Tommie Magee (Carolyn Magee) of McCall Creek, MS. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Bedford Care Center in Marion, MS.
