He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelby Bryant and Carrie Bryant; his sisters, Oneita Johnson and Rita Voth; his daughter Dinah Kay Bryant; and his grandson Cory Patterson.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bryant; his daughter Kim Patterson (Greg); his sisters, Shelby Jean Williams (Elude) and Marie Bellavance; his grandchildren, Jami Patterson and Dustin Patterson; and his great grandchildren, Kaden Patterson, Lee Patterson and Kay Patterson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
