She was predeceased by: her parents, W. L. Porter and Lucille B. Porter; her husband George W. Ricks; and her siblings, Will Porter and Adene Addison.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Ricks (Dianna) of Vaiden, MS and Lynn Ricks (Norris) of New Orleans, LA; her brother Wayne Porter (Virginia) of Pembrook, GA; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Mayhall (Michael) of Tremont, Kendra Myers (Roy) of Gore Springs and Wesley Ricks (Morgan) of Starkville. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Delta Funeral Home (1008 Sgt John Pittman Dr, Greenwood, MS 38930). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Delta Funeral Home Chapel (1008 Sgt John Pittman Dr, Greenwood, MS 38930).
