He was predeceased by: his father Hershel Berry "Huckleberry" Cartwright; his grandparents, Lundy Benford, Ester Naomi "Oma" Cartwright, Clovis R. "Hull" Butler and Nancy Irlene Butler (Michael); his brother Jack Wade Archer; and his uncles, Paul Eugene Butler and James Harold Butler.
He is survived by: his daughter Denise Ludwig (Corey); his grandsons, Tanner of Antioch, IL and Wyatt of Antioch, IL; his daughter Jessica Grabowski (Dennis); his grandchildren, Zoey of Lisle, IL and Zachary of Lisle, IL; his daughters, Christine Cartwright (Matt) of Coppell, TX and Rebecca Cartwright; his grandchildren, Ruth and Remi; his son Jack Cartwright (Amber); his grandchildren, Evie, Winter and Summer; his mother Mattie Bradfield (Butler) of Marietta; his sister Omia Louise Knudsen; his nephew James of Cecil, WI; his brother Brian Cartwright (Daphne) of Marietta; his nephews, Robert and Josh; and his siblings, Elaine Cartwright of Marietta, Betty Avil of Beach Park, IL, Danny Cartwright (Kathy) of Winthrop Harbor, IL and Larry Cartwright of Beach Park, IL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
