He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas "JT" Greene and Frances Evelyn Smith Greene; his brother John Greene; and his siblings-in-law, Gina Henderson, Jerome Ray and Danny Henderson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Henderson Greene of Mantee; his son Michael Greene of Starkville; his sister Peggy Smith (Therrell) of Noxapater; and his siblings-in-law, Charlotte Ray of Mantee, Barbara Harden (Glenn) of Mantee, Lou Harrington (Scott) of Mantee, Kathryn Henderson of Etta, Lynette Greene of Glenville, GA and Sammy Henderson (JoAnn) of Tupelo. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
