She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Mears and Gladys Rebecca Barber Mears; her daughter Angie Payne; and her brother Joe Mears. She is survived by: her husband Paul Burleson of Mooreville; her children, Mike Burleson (Monica) and Paula Dunaway (Gene) of Saltillo; her sister Mary Ellen "Tink" Houston of Tupelo; and her grandchildren, Rebekah Payne, Brad Burleson, Brittany Robinson, Doug Payne, Bridget Luna, Spencer Burleson, Brylee Dunaway, Jake Henson, Cooper Burleson and Paisley Strong. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
