She was predeceased by: her parents, Elzie Houston and Cleo Lesley Sheffield; her husband Clifford Lemmon; and her close friend WinfordRogers. She is survived by: her children, Rocky Lemmon (Debra) of Byhalia, MS, Danny Lemmon (late Gayle) of Bruce, MS, Scott Lemmon (Marilyn) of Nesbit, MS, Mark Lemmon (Terri) of Olive Branch, MS and Theresa Hankins (Tim) of Byhalia, MS; and her sister Peggy Lollar (Lindon) of Mantachie, MS. She is also survived by her twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in memory of Lona Ruth to Shiloh Methodist Church in Mantachie, MS.
