She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Franks and Amy Thompson Franks; and her daughter Rita Gail Palmer Bailey. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Palmer; her sister Barbara Cates; her nephew Ricky Johnson; her niece Joann Blaylock; her great-niece Mary Ann Watson (Chad); and her great-nephews, Nelson McMillen (Holly), Mason Hill, Kain Kennedy, Chase McMillen and Carson McMillen.
