It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nathan Hughes of Mantachie, Mississippi, who passed away on June 13, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Carrell Hughes and Cutah Pettigo Hughes; his wife Barbara Nell Hughes; his parents-in-law, Walter Homer and Lizzie Cockrell; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Thompson, Thomas Cockrell, Pallbearers, Nathan "Trey" Hughes III, Jevan Hughes, Sam Brown, Mike Frederick, Mac Grimes, Matthew Pettigo, Honorary, Cole Hughes, Britt Thompson, Brian "Bruno" Thompson, Lanny Franks, Al Brock, Danny Lindsey and Jimmy Pettigo.
He is survived by: his sons, Nathan Carrell Hughes, II (Renae) of Mantachie and Justin Cary Hughes (Leanna) of Fulton; his grandchildren, Nathan "Trey" Carrell Hughes, III of Mantachie, Brooklynn Faith Hughes of Mantachie, Jevan Cade Hughes of Fulton, Kendall Brooke Hughes of Fulton and Tatum Caroline Hughes of Fulton; his siblings, Eddie Sue Coker (Danny) and Billy "Bird" Hughes; and his siblings-in-law, Jackie Thompson and Susie Goosetree.
