It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lee Dickinson (Mantachie, Mississippi), born in Marietta, Mississippi, who passed away on January 7, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fisher Dickinson and Jewel Lindsey Dickinson; and his parents-in-law, Pearlie and Curtis Franks. He is survived by: his pet Luke; his daughter Mandy; his friend Barry; his wife Joyce Ann Franks Dickinson; his children, Chris Dickinson (Teresa), Angie DeVaughn (Geoffrey), Brian Dickinson (Julie) and Jason Dickinson (Amanda); his grandchildren, John Christopher Dickinson, Jordan Brian Dickinson (Sara), Leigh Allison DeVaughn (Tim Richardson Fiancé), Aiden Seth Dickinson, Madison Elizabeth Dickinson, Alexis Anne Dickinson, John Curtis DeVaughn and Jacie Maria Dickinson; his great grandchildren, Luke Anthony Dickinson of Mantachie, Briley Elizabeth Hill of Mantachie and Lucy Jordyn Dickinson of Mantachie; and his sisters, Eva Nell Burleson of Mantachie and Carolyn Tangery of Olive Branch. He is also survived by partners in raising four children.
