He was predeceased by: his parents, Elijah Austin and Lillie S. Graves Jeffreys; his wife Martha Jeffreys; his granddaughter Kathryn Jeffreys; and his son-in-law Lynn Hester.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald "Jeff" Jeffreys, Jr. (Lisa) of Athens, Bryan Jeffreys (Lisa) of Henderson, Brad Jeffreys (Angela) of Regan, Tennessee, Kim Jeffreys of Tishomingo, Alicia Hester of Iuka and Kayla Williams (Matt) of Mantachie; and his siblings, James Jeffreys of Springtown, Texas and Edith Jezek of Sheffield, Alabama. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to a charity of the donor's choice.
