He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor J. Hood and Rosa E. Duvall Hood; and his sister-in-law Dale Hood. He is survived by: his wife Janet Hood; his daughters, Jana Prochaska (Brian) of Mantachie and Jennifer Guin (Dewayne) of Mantachie; his brother Horace Hood of Peppertown; and his grandchildren, Abby Prochaska, Lydia Prochaska, Wyatt Guin and Laylah Guin.
