He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Davis and Annie Mae Collier Davis; his wife Joyce Davis; his son Kerry Lane Davis; his grandchildren, Austin Davis and Joycelyn Butler; his great grandchild Bo River Davis; and his siblings, Rubal Davis and Virginia Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Barry W. Davis (Carolyn) of Mantachie and Jan Butler (Jeff) of Mantachie; his grandchildren, Joshua Davis (Sarah), Joy White (Jared), Jill Akers and Alex Davis (Danielle); and his great grandchildren, Kaleb Davis, Lana White, Kullen Davis, Ava White, Holt Davis and Maggie Davis.
