She was predeceased by: her parents, P. D. Simmons and Ernestine Simmons; her husband John Robin Christian; her siblings, Leon, Gene, Carl Simmons and Agnes Anderson; and her great grandchild Christian Keith Credille.
She is survived by: her children, Don Christian (Pat) of Tupelo and Glenda Hill (Danny) of Batesville. She is also survived by five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, Mantachie, MS; or the Walton Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 147, Mantachie, MS 38855.
