He is survived by: his wife Linda Lee Sheffield; his children, David Ray Sheffield II (Angela) and Allison Denise Adams (Jason) of Mantachie; his siblings, Bobby Gene Sheffield of Mantachie, Billy Ralph Sheffield (Virginia) of Fairview, Ruby Faye Massey of Mantachie, Janice Yvonne Webb (Lowell) of Tremont and Wilma Frances Bearden (Gary) of Mantachie; his grandchildren, Justin Sheffield, Hunter Sheffield, Hope Stephens, Meagan Pierce and Brittany McDonald; and his great grandchildren, Ayvin Sheffield, Lowen Sheffield, Neomi Stephens, Braidlee Pierce and Rowdie McDonald. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
