It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dana Denise Grimes (Mantachie, Mississippi), who passed away on September 6, 2021, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Noel Knight, James and Rena Grimes; her father James Mackie Grimes; and her uncle David H. Knight.
She is survived by: her daughters, Meghan Guin (Thomas) of Mantachie and Alle Whitaker (John) of Mantachie; her mother Wanda Grimes; her grandmother Thelma Knight; her brothers, James Mackie Grimes, II of Mantachie and Tracy Grimes of Mantachie; her grandchildren, Makennah Guin, Hannah Guin, Liam Guin, Mila Kate Guin, Emma Whitaker, Hadley Whitaker and Adalyn Whitaker; and her aunts, Shelia Moore (Gary), Linda Fitzgerald (Tim) and Dian Young (Pat). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, special cousins, and other family members.
