He was predeceased by: his father Bobby G. "Sonny" Johnson; and his brother Bradley Johnson. He is survived by: the mother of his children Patti Johnson; his mother Annie Johnson; his children, Crystal Johnson of Mantachie and John Johnson of Fulton; his siblings, Beverly Hoyle (Randy) of Mantachie and Billy Johnson (Teresa) of Mantachie; his grandchildren, Paxdon Cox and Jessica Emerson; and his niece Kelsey Hoyle.
