With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha Jean Wilson of Mantachie, Mississippi, born in Marion, Alabama, who passed away on October 10, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, David Peoples and Jetti Peoples; and her husband Emmitt Wilson. She is survived by: her children, Larry Gentry, Jamie Gardner, Jeff Sheffield (Charla), Tim Sheffield (Tina) and Belinda Buchanan (Eric). She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and many beloved nieces, nephews and many extended family members and friends.
