With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Veronica Laine Thomas of Magnolia, Mississippi, who passed away on March 13, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Betty Lou Blackledge; and her grandchild Braylan Duplessis. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Thomas of Magnolia; her children, Corey Gerber (Whitney) of Brandon, Drew Gerber of Magnolia and Angel Duplessis (Calvin) of McComb; her grandchildren, Pierson Gerber of Sumrall, Trae Duplessis of McComb, Lynleigh Gerber of Sumrall, Lola Gerber of Summit and Helen Gerber of Brandon; her siblings, Vincent Blackledge (Gilbert) of Jacksonville, Florida and Angie Blackledge of McComb; and her parents-in-law, David Haynie and Delaine Haynie of Pontotoc.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sharkey Funeral Home (1023 Old Brookhaven Rd, Summit, MS 39666). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at the Magnolia Cemetery (120 Osborne St, Magnolia, MS 39652).
