He was predeceased by : his parents, Therrel A. Simmons and Gladys Addison Simmons Carruth; his wife Mary Anne Dennis; and his son-in-law Tom Bill Myers. He is survived by : his children, Deborah Myers of Seminole, FL, Cindy Allen (Joey) of Magnolia, MS and Mitch Simmons (Velvet) of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Laurie Steele (Adam), Joy Bedsaul (Lee), Amy Evans, Brittany Mabile (Chris), Tyler Rainey (Clarice), Kristin Martin (Chealen) and Travis Myers (Ciara); and his siblings-in-law, Byron Dennis (Anne) and Jane Grantham. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
